Metro Manila · Celebrate Australia Festival (January/February)

Theater, movies, literature promotions, music events, fashion, food and wine: the Australian Embassy celebrates Australia Day, the country's national holiday on January 26, with month-long festivities in venues all over Metro Manila.
With the annual "Celebrate Australia Festival", the Embassy wants to highlight the country's modern, multicultural, creative and innovative culture.
“The Celebrate Australia Festival is not only an opportunity to share with Filipinos the best of Australia, but also reflects the shared values and forward-looking attitude that has been the foundation of the deep, broad-ranging and growing relationship between our two countries,” says Australian Ambassador Bill Tweddell (2014),
A quarter of a million Filipinos are living in Australia, and you find many Australian expats and tourists in Manila's HotSpots.
