Metro Manila · U.S. Independence Day and Fil-Am Friendship Day 2014 (July 5/6)
The U.S. Independence Day on July 4 is always commemorated as the Day of Filipino American Friendship in the Philippines. American expat organizations invite Americans, Filipinos, and all other nationalities to celebrate together on the weekend.
The American Association will celebrate the U.S. Independence and Fil-Am Friendship Day on Saturday in Fort Bonifacio, while the Manila Elks Lodge #761 invites to its event at the Nomad Sports Club on Sunday.
Both events offer everything you need for a proper Independence Day celebration with the whole family: marching bands, parades, fireworks, live music, games and booths, food stalls and much more, all under a (hopefully) blue sky.
