Metro Manila · Crisostomo
The turn of the 19th to the 20th century was a defining time for the Philippines, with the struggle for independence and the first formation of Filipino patriotism. The restaurant Crisostomo wants to bring this exciting era back to life - in a culinary way, of course.
Crisostomo promises "turn of the century Filipino dining" in a setting inspired by the books "Noli me tangere" and "El Filibusterismo", which describe the life of the Filipinos at the end of the Spanish colonial times. Crisostomo is the name of the protagonists in the two novels written by national hero José Rizal.
The menu is full of mouthwatering traditional dishes with a sophisticated twist, such as Hot & Spicy Crispy Pata, Crispy Fried Chicken with Papaya, or Churros Fondue. Combine your meal either with a bottle from the international wine list or with a fresh fruit juice.
Crisostomo now has set meals for four at a very affordable price. All sets, according to Crisostomo representatives, are served with plain rice, dessert, and lemon iced tea.
