The last Megacitizens Manila Stammtisch in 2013 was all about the year-end and the upcoming holidays.

It is already December and the plan-making for Christmas and New Year’s Eve is in full swing. Now what could be better than getting inspiration for your party by people from all over the world? Megacitizens from Europe and the Philippines met at 121 to exchange their plans, ideas, and traditions for the upcoming festivities.

One thing is for sure: No matter what country you are from, people like to end the year with a blast, meaning fireworks and serious partying. Megacitizens.com will shortly provide you with a list of the hottest events for December 31 in Metro Manila. Makati City’s popular New Year’s Eve Countdown with fireworks and live bands at Ayala Avenue has been cancelled this time, in an expression of sympathy for the Yolanda victims.

The aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda was still an important topic at the Stammtisch, as one of the participants even went to Leyte as part of a relief mission. Megacitizens.com keeps publishing updates on the status of reconstruction and relief actions in the affected areas.

The next Stammtisch will take place in mid-January, as usual at the laid-back 121 Grille & Restaurant in Salcedo Village, Makati City. Send us a message or like our Facebook page to stay up-to-date. We are looking forward to see new and familiar faces in 2014!
