Metro Manila · Hossein’s
Cooking is treated as a tradition by the Hosseins and for generations, the Hosseins have celebrated the family legacy and heritage through good food. Chef Hossein brings together his country’s rich history and cultural influences on the dining table together with the recipes that were passed on from one generation to the next.
The restaurant has been serving Halal Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Indo-Pakistani cuisine for almost 30 years, diversifying these wonderful cuisines into innovative creations through the use of an array of herbs and spices.
Upon entering the restaurant, one will already see the blend of influences at Hossein’s –from the Egyptian honeycomb lamps to the Moorish lanterns, from the distinctly Indian patterns to the Islamic artworks on the restaurant’s walls.
Although the mix of Persian, Arabian, South Asian and Mediterranean can be quite difficult to imagine as one theme, even if these cuisines are related to each other, Chef Hossein has managed to create cultural harmony in all of the dishes served at the restaurant and in the restaurant’s interiors as well.
