Greenbelt is not only a conglomeration of five upscale malls with fashion boutiques and designer stores. The malls frame a lush green park with a chapel, koi pond, little pathways, and a high number of exquisite bars and restaurants. The garden setting makes Greenbelt the prime option for dining away from the traffic of Makati City.

About the Mall

Greenbelt 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 do not follow the usual, square architecture of many other shopping malls in Metro Manila. All five buildings have their own unique features that add to the mall's charm.

The website of Makati City provides a valuable abstract on which mall features what kind of shops. In general, Greenbelt focuses on appealing to the upper class, with many designer stores such as Louis Vuitton or Gucci on its premises. But non-members of the upper class will still find some nice items and dinner locations that fit the budget.
The mall won the Best Shopping Center of the Year in 2004 and was also given the International Design and Development Award by ICSC Center Build in the same year.

Location And How To Get There

Greenbelt is located in the heart of the Legazpi Village Hotspot, in a prime location sandwiched by Makati Avenue, Arnaiz, Legazpi, and Paseo de Roxas. For more information, refer to the map.

Even if you are coming from Makati, it might take a while for you to get there. In most cases, especially for an after work drink during rush hour, it might be faster to walk to the area. An overpass leads all the way through Legazpi Village to Greenbelt and the Glorietta Malls.

Work Life Balance

Greenbelt is the place to be for an after work drink, a fancy dinner or a night out with some friends. The green and cozy park and restaurant terraces in between the malls help you escape the busy city life for a while. It has proven to be an oasis in this busy part of the metro and offers a relaxing atmosphere for those who frequent the area.

Taxi Line and Parking

Getting a cab at Greenbelt can be a nightmare. The only taxi line is at the Paseo de Roxas drop-off. Elsewhere alongside the malls, guards are rushing the cabs to go to this small street pocket. The line is not well-managed and getting a cab there might result in a prolonged struggle and haggling about extra charges. Better walk over to the taxi lines of The Landmark or Glorietta, or try to hail a cab from the street.

Parking is available for your private car. You can also be dropped off and picked up at the mentioned pocket at Paseo de Roxas.

Movies and Entertainment

Greenbelt 1 & 3 have cinemas and also offers some arcade action. While the website has a section for Greenbelt's cinemas, it is often not updated so it is best to give the cinemas a call for more information. To contact Greenbelt 1 and 3, you can call (63 2) 757-3861.
