The Rizal Stadium started operations in 1934. It houses the Philippine National Football Team (the Azkals), the United Football League, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The stadium has been host to many international events ever since.

The Araneta Coliseum or SMART Araneta Coliseum/Big Dome is the prime indoor facility for sports events and concerts in Manila. It can host up to 16.500 people and is known worldwide for hosting the 1975 'Thrilla in Manila', the legendary box fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
