On a Sunday evening at around 8 pm the Megacities Team met in Quezon City to check out some places in the northern part of the Megacity. One of the real hotspots in the area is without a doubt Tomas Morato Street. Just a three-minute cab ride away from GMA-Kamuning MRT Station, the interesting part of Tomas Morato is located between Timog Avenue and Kamuning Road, where bars, clubs, and restaurants flock both the left and right sides of the street to form a long, lively strip.
A Mediterranean-style shopping and entertainment complex in the center, surrounded by high-rise condominium and office towers: Eastwood City gives the impression of a secluded and glitzy world of its own. It has been launched in 1997 as a community that combines living, working, and leisure. Here are some of the places you should not miss in Eastwood, more are soon to follow.
Never heard of Tomas Morato before? Then it is time to go there! The HotDot is located in the north of the Megacity Manila, more specifically in Quezon City. Whenever you are up for something a bit more adventurous outside of your comfort zone in Makati or the Fort, Tomas Morato will most certainly welcome you.
You want awesome live music experience in a place far away from the crowded and busy districts of the Megacity? Get on a cab and go to Quezon City.
Intramuros, the Hyatt Casino and the American Embassy – these are only some of the places you can find in the Roxas Boulvard HotSpot. The HotSpot is located in Manila at the bay area. For those Megacitizens who just arrived or haven't had the time yet: the HotSpot is all about culture and tourist destinations.
Alabang is located between the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the business district of Makati with its Salcedo and Legazpi village Hotspots. The Alabang HotSpot can easily be reached from either of those locations via the Skyway. If you dont mind the toll fee, even the rush hour is not as bad as in other places of the Megacity.
